At YAP, we design all of our gear to distribute pressure away from your dog’s neck for a safer and more comfortable walk. We also use NASA-developed Outlast® technology in our harnesses to help stop overheating in addition to regulating your dog’s body temperature.

Outlast® material, also used in Astronaut suits and high-performance outerwear, uses phase-change technology. It absorbs, stores, and releases heat to help maintain a balanced temperature, which prevents your dog from getting too hot or too cold. 

Our harnesses are designed to distribute pressure evenly across your dog’s body. This protects the neck and the hip joints by connecting to the correct center of gravity position based on weight. Accordingly, all of our coats come with integrated harnesses.

We provide a detailed sizing chart on each product page. Most products are easily sized by weight, but to ensure an exact fit, properly measure the chest girth and neck circumference of your dog as shown on the product page.

We offer a smooth exchange policy. If the size doesn’t fit, you can easily exchange it within 30 days for a different size.
